Black Beach Studio, The VR Studio behind IRON REBELLION, is looking for a talented 3D Artist to bring our biggest dreams for the game to life! We are looking to expand our VR Mech Game, IRON REBELLION, to new heights over the next year as we look to add highly requested features. You will be working with a small indie team, joining us as one of two artists on our Unity project. We're a small team but we're super passionate about what we do!

Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models and textures for Mechs, props, and environments.
• Transforming design concepts into 3D assets that accurately capture the intended vision and proportions.
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the team to ensure a cohesive final product.
• Test Models in VR.
• Iterate and refine models based on feedback from playtests.
• Follow 3D best practices (e.g., polycount, topology, UV mapping).

Requirements:

• Proficiency in 3D Modeling.
• A strong portfolio showcasing characters, props, and environment assets.
• Proficiency in Blender.
• Strong skills in texture creation and UV mapping.
• Experience with the Unity game engine.
• Strong visual design skills with familiarity in various art styles and industry standards.
• Strong teamwork skills and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred:

• Expertise in hard surface modeling.
• Familiarity with VR.
• Experience with rigging and animation.
• If you're into sci-fi that's a big plus!
