THIS IS A 1099 INDEPENDANT CONTRACTOR JOB (meaning you need to use your own vehicle and pay your own expenses):
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Parts Delivery Driver to join our team at SPP Enterprises. As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of auto parts and products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to ensuring our deliveries are made efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently deliver parts to customers, including automotive shops and other business locations.
Ensure parts are delivered on time and according to the schedule.
Load and unload parts in a safe and careful manner.
Verify that the correct parts are being delivered.
Maintain accurate delivery records and receipts.
Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting with unloading items if needed.
Communicate effectively with dispatch to report any issues or delays.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Valid D driver’s license.
Clean driving record.
Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Good knowledge of the local area and roadways.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with delivering automotive parts or similar products.
Familiarity with GPS systems and delivery apps.
Ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
Punctual, dependable, and self- motivated
