Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Body Shop Technician to join our team at Bravo Auto Group. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be proficient in using various tools and equipment, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and assess damaged vehicles to determine repair needs and develop repair plans.
- Perform body and frame repairs and replacements, including welding, sanding, and painting.
- Use specialized tools and techniques to repair dents, scratches, bent frames, and other body damage.
- Replace, repair, and paint automotive body parts and systems, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Collaborate with other technicians, estimators, and management to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in repair techniques and technology.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Complete all necessary documentation related to repairs, parts, and labor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role, preferably in a high-volume shop.
- Proficiency in using body repair tools, equipment, and technology.
- Knowledge of vehicle structure, mechanics, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to ensuring high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
