Church Data Entry and Hospitality Professional Location Oklahoma City, OK :

Job Summary

Local Global Methodist church currently seeking a hardworking and trustworthy individual to assist the Pastor of Care and Outreach as needed with tasks required for the strategic planning and development of congregational care ministries.

Responsibilities

• Entering weekly attendance into church management software.
• Maintaining accurate records of church members and attenders.
• Coffee bar upkeep including purchasing and scheduling coffee care ministers on Sundays and other occasions as needed. (Friday is typically prep day for Sundays, Monday is cleanup day)
• Emailing ushers and greeters to remind them of dates they are scheduled to help.
• Creating quarterly schedules for ushers, greeters and coffee ministers.
• Helping to assist with care and ministry events that may come up throughout the year.
• Helping with other tasks that may come up throughout the work week.

Qualifications

• Proficient in data entry and typing with strong computer skills
• Trustworthy and dependable to maintain and interact with confidential data and finances
• Cheerful, hospitable demeaner, as you will be interacting with many different types of people
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Skilled in ensuring equipment and work areas are kept clean and safe
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and administrative experience
• Strong knowledge of grammar and punctuation
• Sunday morning availability (8am-11:30am)
• Typical schedule would be Sunday morning, (8am-11:30am), Monday morning and Friday morning (flexible times), not to exceed 10 hours a week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Every weekend
• No nights
