SUMMARY The part-time
Ta sting Room Support/Barback position will maintain the Cline Tasting Room and stock room including organization, inventory, and stocking supplies, monitoring throughout the day. This position is also responsible for the set-up and breakdown of the wine tasting experiences for guests. The Tasting Room Stock Person must be able to multitask while working individually or as a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Follow and enforce CDC and local guidelines for social distancing and sanitization.
- Obtain and maintain Food Handlers Card upon employment.
- Set-up and break down wine tastings experiences for guests.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems fast and efficiently, while assisting with Curbside Pick ups.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and occasional evenings.
- Maintain Tasting Room and stock room including organization, inventory, and stocking supplies, monitoring throughout the day.
- Unload and stock pallets of wine delivered to the tasting room.
- Assist the tasting room staff in the fulfillment of wine orders. Assist customers in getting their purchases to their cars.
- Break down and remove all used cardboard, daily trash and recycled material.
- Monitor supply of wine carriers and shippers.
- Assist Retail with printing and applying merchandise labels on products.
- Wash, buff and restock glasses.
- Keep storage area neat. Be sure to clean up and stock area each evening.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience operating a forklift a plus.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience, Knowledge, and Skills - Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to help in a multitude of tasks.
- Ability to respond to frequently changing needs.
- Ability to take direction and respond promptly to staff needs in a busy environment.
Physical Demands - Continuous standing and walking on uneven surfaces and occasionally on even surfaces.
- Ability to frequently bend and twist.
- Ability to occasionally kneel, crouch, and crawl. Intermittent climbing as needed.
- Ability to continuously reach above and below shoulder.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 50 pounds and above.
- Able to work in all kinds of weather (rain, cold, wind, heat, sun).
Pay rate : $16.50/hour + tips
*** Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
