Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Commercial Cleaners to join our apartment building team. This position for our campus properties and is for a few of our campuses that have multiple buildings on site. We will provide training on routes, techniques, and best practices for each of the job sites.

This is a very physical job and requires you to be able to navigate a lot of stairs wearing a backpack vacuum. In this role you will be traveling between buildings all day.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
• Doing laundry on-site at property
• Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning preferred (we train everyone in regardless of experience)
• Hard working, ready to work hard and cover a lot of ground
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites & a valid drivers license
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be legally eligible to work as an independent contractor in the United States

Schedule:

• Flexible schedule based on client needs
• Full time (35+ hours/week)

Compensation:

• Competitive pay rates ranging from $18 to $20 per hour
• Payment on a bi-weekly basis
