Job Description

Our client, an innovative internet services company, is looking for a Contract / Freelance UI/UX Designer

• UX/UI Designer will work on solutions that span many user interaction points, including web/mobile applications and mobile apps
• You will be working collaboratively with product managers and developers in an iterative design process to define user issues and solutions
• The need for flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments will be key to success

• Responsible for designing user interactions on web and mobile apps
• Create user experience design storyboards, conceptual maps, wireframes, UI specifications
• Conduct brainstorming sessions with users, product managers, developers, and other UX designers
• Design user personas, journey maps, day-in-the-life use cases, and other Design Thinking deliverables
• Monitor trends and best practices to increase the company's presence regarding design and usability

• 3+ years experience creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile interfaces
• Able to work the entire design lifecycle, starting with capturing initial user requirements through working with the development team to implement the design
• Support design work using all available insights including customer feedback, quantitative data and site metrics, and usability findings
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and prototyping tools, HTML, and CSS
• Sound understanding and appreciation of latest UI/UX design concepts and best practices
• Ability to handle multiple priorities on tight deadlines without compromising quality
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

 
Education:
Bachelors degree is preferred
