Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst
Location: Tulsa , Oklahoma

Type: Contract To Hire
Contractor Work Model: Onsite

The Cybersecurity Analyst plays a key role in supporting and enhancing the organization’s cybersecurity posture. This position is responsible for monitoring security systems, analyzing threats, and assisting in the development of security protocols. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization’s data and infrastructure remain secure and will contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and incident response capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems and analyze logs to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities.
• Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports and remediation plans.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing efforts.
• Maintain and update security tools, including SIEM, firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security best practices.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
• Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, GSEC, or CISSP) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
• Scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) are a bonus.
