Job Description

• AI Security Research & Development: Lead and contribute to the research, design, testing and implementation of advanced AI solutions across networks, infrastructure, and applications.

• Ethical AI Red Team Testing: Utilize ethical hacking tools to simulate attacker techniques, develop proof-of-concept exploits, and assess vulnerabilities based on impact and exploitability. Conduct AI red team testing on AI systems, network devices, applications, and platforms to identify and mitigate security risks.

• Incident Response & Forensics: Analyze AI security incidents and breaches, contributing to technical investigations and response strategies.

• Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance to cybersecurity researchers, focusing on growing the knowledge base for AI red teaming and enforcing security disciplines.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with peers, stakeholders, and leadership to resolve issues and drive strategic AI security initiatives. Lead or participate in the research, analysis, design, testing and implementation of complex AI systems for company information and network systems and applications.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of AI Cyber Security Research experience and red team testing, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst dedicated to strengthening its red teaming initiatives. This role is designed to advance adversarial cybersecurity research and validate collaboration with senior leadership to confirm findings and management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong capabilities in systems thinking, game theory, intelligence analysis, professional communication risk assessment, and controls evaluation.

GenAI Specific Skills and Expertise

• Applied knowledge of Generative AI architectures, including language models (LLMs)

• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, adversarial prompting, and jailbreaks

• Conducting assessments aligned with GenAI risks, top risks, model extraction, and prompt injection threats (OWASP Top 10 LLM 2025 and Adversarial Attacks)

• Familiarity with frameworks for evaluating robustness, safety, and alignment in GenAI systems such as OWASP, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF

• Privacy identity to manage and protect GenAI systems and sensitive data

• Awareness of current regulatory, ethical, and legal requirements related to Generative AI

• Experience utilizing GenAI platforms, APIs, and environments associated security controls

Job Title: Cyber Security Research Engineer - GenAI Validation

Location: Charlotte, NC | Jersey City, NJ | New York City, NY | Irving, TX

Position Overview

We are looking for a cyber security research engineer for the role of GenAI validator. The main objective of this role is to make sure offensive security research team findings are remediated. The job includes reviewing and repeating previous red team TTPs to confirm that these tactics either no longer work or are now blocked by effective controls.

This position runs attack simulations, writes detailed reports, and presents results clearly to both business and technical leaders. The role also involves working with various teams across the bank to explain their work. Strong knowledge of GenAI and red team tools is required, as well as the ability to investigate and analyze offensive technologies, systems, and applications to recreate past testing conducted in real-life environments. This position reports to the Cyber Threat Management Offensive Security Research Team and works closely with other internal groups to support threat emulation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cutting-edge research in cyber security with a focus on GenAI systems

• Take part in active offensive security tasks

• Make sure previously found issues have been properly addressed

• Write and deliver reports detailing activities performed

• Communicate findings to business units, adjusting for different audiences

• Work with leadership to find improvement opportunities and streamline processes

• Apply hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) systems to emulate cyber threats, automate analysis, and enhance detection capabilities

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in cyber security research and GenAI systems, or a blend of work experience, training, military service, or education

• Over 2 years' experience with the Linux operating system

• At least 2 years of practice using Burp Suite, VMware Workstation, and cloud computing experience in Google Cloud or Azure

Desired Qualifications

• Skills in Python, Ruby, PowerShell, and Shell Scripting

• Understanding how to assess, reduce, and remedy information security vulnerabilities

• Ability to handle confidential materials

• Knowledge of the banking or financial services industry

• Experience in large enterprise settings

• Skilled in communicating complex information at all management levels

• Certifications such as GIAC, OSCP, OSWP, OSCE, OSEE, or OSWE
