Job Title: Electrical Designer
Job Description
The Electrical Designer is responsible for creating designs in AutoCAD for various commercial and retail projects. You will receive an overview of each project and will conduct the initial design concept for lighting equipment and electrical components within building interiors. Upon completion, you will submit your drafts to a Professional Engineer (PE) for review and approval or further modifications.
Responsibilities
Develop initial design concepts for lighting equipment and electrical components.
Create detailed designs using AutoCAD for commercial and retail projects.
Collaborate with a Professional Engineer (PE) to review and finalize designs.
Ensure designs meet necessary codes and standards for construction.
Submit drafts for approval and make necessary modifications based on feedback.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Electrical Engineering principles.
Experience with AutoCAD for design purposes.
Strong background in electrical design and drafting.
Familiarity with construction processes and standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Revit is beneficial but not required.
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position with minimal travel, approximately 2%-5%, to job sites out of state, which will be company-issued. You have the opportunity to work in the Valley, Landsdale, or Philadelphia. The role offers growth opportunities within the organization.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
