We currently have an opening for an Entry-Level (Associate) Technician on our Field Services Team (3D Scanning and Survey, Reality Capture). This is an ideal opportunity if you have some prior architectural, construction, or engineering experience and/or an Architecture or Engineering degree and want to grow your knowledge about building design and construction.

As an Associate Technician at WD, you will perform on-site 3D laser scanning, compiling, registering, and reporting of the collected data to generate 3D models and presentation materials. This position performs field visits, including loading the equipment for transportation, set-up of equipment at sites, and demobilizing equipment when scanning is complete. You will also compile various reports, documents, and/or drawings of finding, and all other duties as required. This role travels extensively so the ability to travel via plane and/or car to project locations is necessary.

Preferred Experience:

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering, or equivalent knowledge gained from education and/or work experience is helpful
• Valid Driver's License is required
• Ability to travel is required and travel is frequent from Monday - Friday
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and walk/stand for extended periods of time is required
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Comfortable working in public spaces and interacting professionally with the public, client management, and customers as needed
