Position Overview
You will work closely with attorneys to support clients throughout their immigration journey. This role is integral to managing casework, maintaining consistent client communication, and assisting with legal filings and trial preparation. You will play a key role in ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confidently represented at every stage of their case.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain organized and up-to-date case files, including calendars, deadlines, client communications, and case status documentation
- Monitor case progress and confirm updates with attorneys to ensure timely and accurate case management
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case status and next steps
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and litigation support
- Safeguard confidential client and attorney information in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Attend assigned client meetings, both in person and virtually
- Track the status of filings with federal and state agencies and ensure timely follow-up
- Draft and prepare motions, routine correspondence, and legal filings
- Serve as a liaison with court personnel and government agencies
- Compile pleadings, exhibits, indexes, checklists, and motions, and conduct legal research as needed

Education & Credentials
- Bachelor's degree with relevant legal experience or an associate degree with additional legal experience
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Immigration law and customer service experience strongly preferred
