Job Summary:
An Investment Team Associate will have a number of varied responsibilities that will likely change and grow over time. Initial responsibilities will include preparing client review materials, designing client portfolios, collecting and analyzing data, and trading investments in client portfolios. Associates are expected to follow all IAG processes to ensure proper regulatory and firm standards are met.
Preparing and verifying client review information
Ensure all eligible accounts are linked to WealthVision (eMoney)
Verify account titling is correct in WealthVision
Confirm investments are classified correctly in WealthVision
Identify and eliminate duplicate assets in WealthVision
Prepare clean Portfolio GPS and Investment Recommendation worksheets
Designing and adjusting client portfolios
Prepare initial portfolio analysis for prospective clients (PR)
Update clients’ Portfolio GPS to assure alignment with current IAG allocations
Create detailed investment recommendations taking into consideration current allocation, target allocation, individual risk tolerance, liquidity, equity diversification, risk-adjusted investment performance, tax consequences, RMD status, annuity restrictions, potential annuity upgrades, staff time, costs, systematic withdrawals, and client cash flow needs
Trading investments
Serve as a backup trader during periods of high volume
Implement trades to meet client cash flow needs
Conduct trades during our Bear Market Opportunity Plan process
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with macros and VLOOKUP preferred.
Ability to process detailed tasks accurately within time constraints.
Time management skills.
Ability to coordinate job responsibilities with other team members across multiple departments.
Preferred skills:
Bachelors’ degree.
Experience in using CRMs and eMoney.
Previous experience in the investment industry.
