Job Description

Our Partner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data & AI Engineer to join their team, focusing on the Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GraphRag (multi-modal, etc.), Semantic Web, GenAI capabilities, and Data Engineering, and Enterprise Data Management practices with strong experience in DoD financial processes, procurement data, and data platforms such as ADVANA. 

Remote work is possible for this role.

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Secret Clearance
• Experience with ADVANA procurement and audit analytics or ADVANA experience
• Experience working in DoD Financial Management
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of major financial management business systems owned by the DoD and the organizations that use those systems
• Ability to communicate with advise executives on financial management and financial statement audit matters
• Experience with providing seamless data integration and availability
• Experience testing APIs and Authentication methods
• Proficient with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other request protocols, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange
• Experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining data ingest flows

Desired Skills

• Experience using dashboard and web applications on ADVANA
• Experience using the DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR)
• Experience putting together response packages to audit inquiries, Prepared by Client (PBC) requests, Executive Orders, and executive-coordinated documents
• Ability to manipulate and integrate data from multiple databases using SQL, Python, or other languages
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred
