Description

Betches is looking for a Junior Designer with a sharp design eye and a passion for creating compelling visual content. This role can lean either toward static design or motion graphics, depending on your strengths, but what’s essential is a strong visual sensibility over technical know-how.

You’ll work closely with the Associate Director of Graphics and Animation to support a wide range of design needs across branded and original content. From thumbnails to custom series graphics, you’ll have the opportunity to build your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design static and/or motion graphics across platforms and formats
• Support in creating 3000x3000 episode cover art and YouTube graphics
• Assist with thumbnails, bugs/logos, and custom graphics for original series
• Reformat or resize videos and assets as needed
• Source design materials and prep assets (e.g., cutting out images for use)
• Assist in creating .mogrt files and handling tweaks or revisions
• Contribute to ideation and help develop creative solutions for new visuals
• Help build design assets for podcast templates and other brand materials

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of design experience, ideally in digital media or branded content
• Strong design instincts and attention to detail—you care about clean, thoughtful work
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva
• Working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds and shifting priorities
• Collaborative and proactive—you take initiative but also love being part of a team
• Up to date on visual trends and excited to experiment with new styles
• Bonus Points For:
  • Photo editing skills
  • Experience creating assets for social-first content

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $30 from 10-15 hours a week.
