If you’re a newly licensed CDL-A driver in the Reno metro area and want a solid start in trucking—not a revolving-door trainee job—this paid CDL-A training program offers hands-on OTR experience, experienced mentorship, and a clear upgrade path to a solo driving position with steady miles and reliable weekly pay.
This program is designed for drivers who want stability, structure, and long-term career growth .
Training Pay: $650 per week for 4–6 weeks
Solo Pay After Upgrade: $1,000–$1,400+ per week
Mileage Pay: $0.43–$0.51 CPM after training (experience based)
Stop Pay: $15 per stop once solo
Pay Schedule: Weekly direct deposit
Most drivers transition to solo quickly after completing training requirements.
Assigned late-model automatic tractors after upgrade
No-touch dry van freight
Combination of drop & hook and live load/unload
Nationwide freight lanes
This setup allows new drivers to focus on learning, safety, and consistency.
OTR Schedule: 12–14 days out with a 34-hour home reset
Operating Area: 48-state OTR after training
