We reward problem solving. What You’ll Do Your future starts here! A Materials Supervisor at Royal leads and supports our shipping and receiving teams across the plant. We are looking for people who have a supervisory background in addition to experience in shipping and receiving. Hilo driving experience is essential for this position. This role is based out of our Mission facility and reports directly to the Materials Manager. The position will train for 4 weeks on 1st shift (8am-4pm) before moving to 3rd shift (12am-8am).

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a small team in the execution of outgoing and incoming shipments 
• Inventory control
• A regular focus on Continuous improvement
• Daily utilization of ERP system (Syteline), scanners and other technology related products
• Prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities within the shipping and receiving teams

Skills & Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Self driven and team oriented
• Effective communication
• Able to multitask and work under pressure 
• Good time management skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking and performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to hold and operate a hand scanner
• Bending and stooping 
• Ability to use fingers, hands and arms to complete a task (dexterity)
• Hand-eye coordination
• All employees must wear approved safety glasses

• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience 
• Willing and able to work overtime
• Ability to work 3rd shift (12am-8am)
