Pay Rate: $54–$90/hr | Onsite | MCFR Project Manager – Agency Contract

System One is seeking to contract with a Project Manager to join the MCFR Team . In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting MCFR activities. The MCFR Project Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and experimental teams to deliver critical data supporting MCFR milestones.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of project work scope with relevant engineering or experimental leads
• Coordinate and assist the project team in achieving tasks and deliverables on budget and schedule
• Monitor, analyze, track, and report on project cost, schedule, and scope progress using earned value (EV) data
• Conduct administrative duties such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices, and preparing estimates
• Liaise with project stakeholders regarding project details and deliverables
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner
• Conduct critical path analysis for test activities in the schedule

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a technical role, project management role, or a combination of both, with responsibility for technical tasks and project management
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
• Experience developing project budgets and resource-loaded schedules
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new software and processes
• Demonstrated ability to understand key objectives and work with stakeholders and tools to improve processes or systems efficiently
• PMP or AACE certification highly preferred
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA preferred
• Strong technical background, including engineering management, is highly desirable
• High degree of trust and integrity, open communication, and a collaborative mindset
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P
