USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.
PRP Database Manager: Manages day-to-day maintenance, backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of databases across all environments. Manages the day-to-day operations of the data warehouse, including performance tuning, backups, and access controls. Ensures that the PRP Database is reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. Manages PRP database design, implementation, maintenance, optimization, and security across multiple environments (e.g., development, testing, production). Supports new or updated database technologies required. Manages the development and deployment of PRP database schemas adhering to schedules. Manages the completion of PRP database backups. Maintains PRP operational database availability. Ensures PRP permissions, account management, and authentication. Manages full service and on-site response to PRP database problems.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 3+ years of experience
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; Cloud+, Security+, SSCP or GSEC.
