ActioNet has an opportunity for a Red Hat Linux Administrator requiring a SECRET clearance in Vienna, VA

The Red Hat Linux Administrator supports provides administration and support for Treasury’s Linux-based systems, focusing on disaster recovery and continuity of operations. Ensures Linux systems are secure, patched, and available to support mission requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.

- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.

- Patch and update Linux systems in compliance with security baselines.

- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.

- Document system configurations and SOPs.

- Support COOP exercises and failover testing.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

- Active Secret clearance (T-3).

- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

- 5+ years of Red Hat Linux administration.

- Knowledge of Linux security hardening (DISA STIGs).

- Experience with shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).

- Experience with virtualization platforms.

- Knowledge of Ansible automation.
