We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to help design, build, and maintain data pipelines and systems that turn raw information into actionable insights. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop ETL workflows, optimize SQL queries, and manage scalable cloud-based data infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and practices while contributing to meaningful projects that directly impact business outcomes. Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to process and transform large datasets efficiently.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure data quality and accessibility.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance for scalable applications.
• Assist in managing cloud-based data infrastructure and integrating with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure reliable and maintainable solutions.
• Support deployment workflows, automation, and continuous integration processes.
• Learn and adopt best practices in data engineering, architecture, and pipeline design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or completion of a coding bootcamp.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Basic programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Understanding of cloud services and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of data pipeline frameworks such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or Databricks is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
