This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Aspire Software. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Corporate Engineering) in the United States.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable backend systems for modern SaaS applications. In this position, you will tackle complex technical challenges, optimize performance across the application stack, and contribute to architectural and design discussions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, while leveraging AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity. This role provides the opportunity to innovate, influence technical decisions, and help shape the future of a high-impact software platform.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js.
• Implement and optimize data storage solutions with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Develop, deploy, and manage applications on AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Debug, resolve, and optimize complex technical issues to ensure service reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features and contribute to product architecture.
• Explore opportunities to integrate AI/ML techniques into the development process and product features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and experience building RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, databases, and networking.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile development experience and eagerness to adopt AI-powered development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
