Chicago School of Golf Position: Summer Camp Manager

Location: Buffalo Grove Golf Course, 48 Raupp Blvd., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089

The Opportunity

Chicago School of Golf is seeking a reliable and highly organized Summer Camp Manager to oversee the daily operations of our junior golf summer camp. This role is crucial to the program's success and serves as the primary point of contact for parents during drop-off, pick-up, and all camp-related communications. This is a seasonal, on-site position reporting directly to Jake Smith or other full-time staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and flow of the summer camp
• Serve as the main point of contact for parents at drop-off and pick-up
• Manage all parent communication and address questions or concerns as needed
• Update and maintain daily camp rosters and attendance
• Coordinate and schedule support staff to ensure proper coverage
• Work closely with Directors and coaching staff to ensure smooth daily execution
• Anticipate and resolve issues to maintain a positive camp experience
• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence on property at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in camp management, operations, or youth programs preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with parents, staff, and children
• Ability to manage schedules, rosters, and daily logistics
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently

Job Details

• Employment Type: Part-Time / Seasonal
• Season: Summer (aligned with camp schedule)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Required Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (on-site daily)
• Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour (depending on experience)
• Industry: Youth Sports / Golf
• Background Check: Required
