Aloha! Ready to trade the ordinary for an extraordinary adventure? Join an exotic animal sanctuary on Hawaiis Big Island, where youll combine meaningful volunteer work with island living in one of the worlds most stunning natural settings.
As a volunteer, youll work hands-on with a variety of exotic and native Hawaiian speciesfeeding, cleaning, maintaining habitats, and supporting enrichment activities. While the work is physically demanding, its incredibly rewarding, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the care and well-being of animals that require special attention and sanctuary.
Located on the lush and diverse Big Island, the sanctuary provides a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path experience where your days are filled with purposeful tasks and your free time is yours to explore volcanoes, beaches, waterfalls, and vibrant island culture. Volunteers typically work five days a week, with two days off to relax or adventure. This is not just a beach escapeits a chance to make a tangible impact in wildlife care while living in paradise.
