Job Description:
San Antonio Winery is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, honest Tasting Room Associate/Wine Steward to represent our wines, our winery, and our welcoming culture. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and wine knowledge. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available. Job Duties:
* Greet and serve guests hospitably
* Create a memorable experience for guests
* Conduct tastings and tours of the winery
* Set-up and host wine tastings and tours for guests
* Effectively advise customers, sell wine & merchandise
* Provide service and hospitality that exceeds our guest's expectations
* Provide education about each of our wines, wine tasting practices, winemaking techniques
* Handle routine point-of-sale transactions
* Assist in events, private dinners and various site activities
* Assist with merchandising, restocking, inventory and maintenance
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager/owner

Job Requirements:
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
•  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
* Exemplary customer service skills
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Knowledge of wines and wine production
* Great communication, presentation, and sales ability with a positive attitude
* Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
* Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
* RBS training and food handler’s card may be required
* WSET II or equivalent preferred

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $22 to $27 per hour with other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, and location.
