Independent Contractor Driver Jobs in Houston

Contract

This Independent Contractor Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into on this _____ day of ________________, 20____, by and between the independent contractor (“Contractor”) and [Company Name] (“Company”).

WHEREAS, Company is engaged in the business of providing transportation services in the Houston area; and

WHEREAS, Contractor is an independent contractor with the required qualifications, licenses, and insurance to provide transportation services in Houston;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises made by the parties hereto, the Company and the Contractor (individually, each a “Party” and collectively, the “Parties”) covenant and agree as follows:

1. Services. Contractor shall provide transportation services to Company`s clients in the Houston area, as and when requested by Company. Contractor shall be solely responsible for the manner and means by which Contractor performs the transportation services.

2. Compensation. Contractor shall be compensated by Company based on the number of completed transportation services. The specific compensation terms are detailed in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

3. Term Termination. The term of this Agreement shall commence on the effective date and shall continue until terminated by either Party in accordance with the termination provisions set forth in this Agreement.

5. Governing Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
