Qualifications/Skills:

• Associates or BS in Medical Billing & coding from an accredited college, strongly preferred.
• AHIMA/AAPC, ARHPC, strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience related to patient registration, billing, coding and claims reconciliation.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
• Ability to facilitate communication effectively with co-workers and patients.
• Knowledge of payment programs (Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party insurance).

Job Duties:

• Collect and enter patient information, submit claims, process payments.
• Ensure services rendered to patients are accurately and efficiently billed to insurance companies, government agencies, and other payers.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and work aging reports.
• Research and resolve rejections and denials.

Employment Type: Full Time, Monday through Friday.

Starting Salary Range : $15.00 - $25.00 per hour; up to 3% annual increases.
