Job Description

The Partners Marketing Manager is a key contributor to the growth and success of Instructure’s Partners program. In this role, you will help bring the value of our ecosystem to life for edtech companies by executing marketing initiatives, enhancing our presence and reach, expanding our partner database, and ensuring programs are launched and supported with excellence.

You will translate the Partners program’s strategy into clear, high-quality outputs: updated web content, compelling case studies, polished collateral, coordinated activities, and operational processes that keep the program running smoothly. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Content, and Product teams to showcase partner impact, highlight success stories, and support efforts that accelerate partner acquisition and engagement.

This is an ideal position for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and both operationally strong and creatively driven. You should enjoy building processes, executing tasks from start to finish, and finding opportunities to improve how we tell our story and reach edtech companies.

We are a lean, fast-moving team—so initiative, ownership, and follow-through are essential.

What you’ll do:
  • Value Storytelling & Content Execution:
  • Help articulate and elevate the value of the Instructure Partner Program through updated website pages, collateral, case studies, partner spotlights, and ecosystem-focused content.
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Sales to identify partner success stories and turn them into compelling marketing assets.
  • Support creation and refinement of messaging that resonates with edtech companies evaluating partnership opportunities.
  • Program Execution & Cross-Team Enablement:
  • Ensure marketing tasks and partner program activities are executed accurately, on time, and with high-quality follow-through.
  • Collaborate with Sales to support outreach efforts, improve lead handoff, and equip teams with updated decks, one-pagers, and partner-facing materials.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success to identify case study candidates, gather testimonials, and communicate partner value through shared assets.
  • Maintain clear project plans, documentation, and timelines to keep all stakeholders aligned.
  • Database Growth, Reach Expansion & Channel Diversification:
  • Contribute to expanding our partner prospect database through list building, segmentation, data hygiene, and research-driven sourcing.
  • Explore and test new channels to reach edtech companies—such as ecosystem showcases, targeted nurtures, social amplification, content syndication, webinars, or spotlight programs.
  • Recommend creative approaches for improving engagement and widening the reach of our partner value proposition.
  • Campaign & Event Support (Component of the Role):
  • Execute partner marketing activities such as email programs, webinars, co-marketing efforts, and events—in alignment with established strategies and priorities.
  • Support event planning and execution (virtual and in-person), managing logistics, promotion, communications, and follow-up tasks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional contributors (Content, Sales, Product, Events, Ops) to ensure successful launches.
  • Program Operations & Process Optimization:
  • Manage operational components essential to partner marketing success: segmentation, list management, workflow setup, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Keep systems organized and up-to-date to ensure smooth execution across all marketing activities.
  • Manage external vendors supporting content, events, or digital programs.
  • Performance Tracking, Analysis & Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor program and campaign performance using Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase, Outreach, and internal reporting dashboards.
  • Analyze results, partner engagement signals, and lead flow to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend adjustments to tactics, channels, or assets based on insights and business needs.
  • Proactively identify gaps or opportunities across operations, content, or processes—and propose solutions without waiting for instruction.
What you will need to know/have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in marketing execution, partner marketing, events, or demand gen—ideally in SaaS or edtech.
  • Strong proficiency with Marketo (or equivalent) and working knowledge of campaign, nurture, or operational setup.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ABM tools (Demandbase preferred), webinar platforms, and general martech components.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical capabilities—comfortable interpreting data and translating insights into action.
  • Demonstrated creativity in storytelling, content creation, event promotion, or channel experimentation.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to take initiative, see what needs to be done, and drive work forward independently.
